Savor The Date was created for the vibrant, excited, giddy and colorful bride who savors the planning process, yet never loses sight of what her wedding is all about. Our colorfully illustrated stationery spreads the recognition your important day deserves. We use four color process printing to create blah blah blah.... Customized with calligraphy or a completely
unique illustration, our designs create mementos of your
important day.

Toby Simon, illustrator and calligrapher behind Savor
The Date, developed her drawing and painting skills while studying
industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University. It
was there that she stumbled upon a calligraphy class
and discovered her passion for the art of letter writing.

After graduating she began illustrating books and
cards for friends and incorporated calligraphy into
her designs. She moved to San Francisco and as she
honed her drawing style she created a line of greeting
cards which sold in boutiques around the city. It was
at that time that many couples she knew were
getting married, and she created custom illustrated
Save The Date announcements for their weddings and
bridal showers. For her own wedding, she perused other invitation services and finding them all their designs too monocromatic, decided to create her own. She had so much fun with these and received so many kudos that she
began pursuing this service more seriously.

Still smitten with her husband Dave, Toby knows that
every couple has a unique love they should communicate
to their friends.
